Small Groups Method

Centered in the heart of Hāmākua on the big island, GroGru designs, builds, and assists in the management of appropriate farm and/or greenhouse practices (including hydro and aquaponics systems) according to the specific climate and soil of each area.

Our goal is for these farms to be linked in a network, with each individual farm being a resource to the local rural community of residents within its radius in order to maximize and conserve resources. In collaboration with one another, this network can come together in creating a trading cooperative and privatizing a full range of farm dynamics.
